Imaginary World: Neo City complete!

I'm a sucker for storylines in games. Maplestory is no different. I heard that Neo City gets revamped in JUSTICE (and from what I have heard, made a part of canon. Eeee <3) so I decided to take a look around and see what I could finish. The last battle is pretty hard for someone that doesn't boss often. @.@

Here is Andy, my favorite NPC out of all of them. In the original pre-quest, he was quiet funny in a serious manner. (Like going around and destorying robots,hating on beetles...) I am a little sad they changed it when it was made to a normal quest mode, but I suppose there is always the new quest to look forward to! (P.S. My favorite part of this quest line is the part where my Android is with me.)

This is the first time you will go to! There are a bunch of slimes for some unknown reason. I like to think that the slimes might be a rise of pollution from the robots. THERE MUST BE SOME REASON WHY SLIMES ARE INVOLVED WITH ROBOTS.

Basically, you are going to fight some slimes and help the kids out. Sadly, neither of them find their parents. SUCH A SHAME.

The next part of this questline really starts to show the robot overlords. I swear man, look at that dirty sky. You also get your first boss fight here. The bosses here hit pretty hard and love KB skills, so make sure you are ready.

Here we are at the first boss. Not really too hard if you know what you are doing. Blast em around and watch out for the KB skills.

This is where the whole incompleteness of the current Neo City starts to shoiw through. For some of you that don't know, Neo City is a modified version of Neo Tokyo from JMS. The storyline is completely different and really, the only thing remaining is the NPC's. (and the fact that the future is a mess.) I am hoping some of the new storyline will improve some of these plot holes. They kind of suck.

Basically, May knows your name and it's only brought up this once. I am assuming there was some word of mouth going around at some point since we have traveled to the past years before this, but still..

Okay, THIS BOSS REALLY LET ME DOWN. Not because of how easy he is, but because from what I have seen on Pixiv, he's kind of a big deal. Too bad in Neo City, this is all you'll ever see him. Apparently he has a pretty nice story going for him in JMS that explains why he's with the bad guys. Hard to tell since I don't play JMS, but I really wish I was able to know more about him. he has his own Cash shop set for cryin out loud.

I hate this map. Ken will give you quest, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE A SAFE PLACE TO ACCEPT IT. Auugghh... :C

Speaking of people with bigger roles in JMS, This girl is like... the freakin poster girl, and the reward at the end resembles her a lot... yet in neo City she only appears this once. Wtf. Also, it should be noted that they flipped the power levels in Neo City. In JMS, the black haired angel is weaker and the red haired one is the strongest at a whooping level 180.

Almost there! Take some quest from this guy and kill some things!!

The best idea here is to not aggro all of them. My counter works wonders and got them all mad at me. TIN YOU'RE GONNA DIIIIEEEE.

THE PART THAT MADE ME HATE THE EDITS IS RIGHT HERE. Yeah, see that Nalo guy? Think back tot he first quest with the brainy boy. Well in JMS, they are THE SAME GUY. I thought was an awesome concept, and they dropped it. (From what I can tell from the JMS names, Isabella and Marie are NOT the same person, despite looking very similar... unless there is a name change some where. Correct me if I am wrong on this.)

Hello GMS buffed boss.

After this, it takes you tot he last zone. I didn't get a cap of me fighting because me taking a single hand off of the controls would have been a death wish. The ship hits hard and even has a 1/1 skill to boot. Don't even get me started on the third form. Having a ranged move and some way to prevent/reduce stun time will certainly help. Also, bring some all cures to cure any blindness. Basically, Jack be nimble, Jack be quick. One slip up could cost ya the battle.
